Our position

Recovery Republic of California is a clinical program for men, built by men in recovery. We took what worked for us — structure, routine, support, accountability, community, time outdoors, and the 12 steps — and wrapped it around real clinical work: psychiatry, individual therapy, group work, and family work. The standard is simple: stand up, face the fire, respect others to be respected, be honest in what you do, and pause to question the hesitation.

Why Venice

Venice, California — a vibrant city on the beach. No ego, no discrimination, no limit on possibility and opportunity. Here the busy life meets peace, and living on the coast is more than decoration. Ocean water, nearby mountains, abundant community resources — an endless playground for men ready to show up and reinvent themselves. Paired with a healthy balance of work and play, this place does something for men that fluorescent-lit group rooms in a medical building never will. We built the program around the setting, then filled it with the right people and clinicians good enough to earn it.
